We’re in the middle of my favorite time of year! Halloween costumes ordered. Decorations are up, although we’re adding some every few days. Pumpkin patch visit planned. Halloween party booked. We have plans to visit the state fair this week, and I can’t wait!
The kids have been learning about Hispanic culture at school for Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s been fun learning from them. We talked about food from other cultures and decided it wouldifferentfun to incorporate meals from other regions into differentoutine. I love and amg about other food cultures, so I’m excited about this idea. Hopefully, it will make my kids more adventurous eaters, too. Fingers crossed.
Ironically, the meal I chose this week was an Indian meal. I know, I know. But I had the ingredients for this curry chicken dish (she doesn’t photograph well, but she has lots of other good qualities), so I went with it. We’ll circle back to the origin next week! Also, this new tradition has to work into our busy lives, so they will be quick and easy.
Send me ideas for this tradition if you have them!
